hello (and farewell)

i think it's safe to say i've been putting off making this post for a long time. inexcusably long. excuses aside, it's always hard returning to something after a long absence. excuses now very much in the front, i do have a few lined up. first and foremost; my laptop completely died. just gave up on living and resurrected only for a very short amount of time, for me to realise that it had deleted all of my files. so the few photos i had taken and uploaded were very much lost. i do, now, have a lot of new shoots and an awesome new camera and laptop, so my post/photo quality will get better, hopefully.

however, i've grown a lot creatively (and physically, but i'm still seriously short so we won't bring that up) since i started this up, and i'd like to think i've matured too, so i'm considering making a new blog, that fits and follows a lot more with my new found creativity and doesn't have a past of posts that are very forced and ramble-y. i'm not completely ashamed of the past of this blog, as i think it has been important in the development of my skills and whatnot, so i don't want to delete it completely, as much as begin again and have a fresh new start.

i'll post links and everything when it's up and running, and maybe a few photos just for old times sake. hopefully i'll soon get a chance to catch up on reading posts too, because i've not done much of that for almost as long as i've not posted. almost.

lastly, i'd like to thank you all for your lovely comments on my posts, and apologise for not replying, i really appreciate them, they inspire me and motivate me.
